Amazon has just added to its service platform by becoming a fast food delivery food service. Getting involved in the culinary landscape, the online retailer is planning to partner with Olo, a service which works with the restaurant industry in providing a food ordering software.

With previous culinary services to Prime customers, offering one-hour wine delivery service, as well as buying Whole Foods this summer, Amazon has taken it a step further. Think Chipotle, Denny’s and Shake Shack being delivered straight to your front door, and now just think of how this can be a reality. That’s right, this partnership of Amazon and Oslo will give you the option of having some of your favorite fast-food chains delivered to your door, making them your go-to food delivery heroes.

Olo is a New York based service which links customers to some of the most well-known restaurant chains. The new partnership will see the two companies work together in expanding Olo’s customer accessibility, with Amazon hoping to provide the same range of offerings nationwide. With more than 200 of Olo’s restaurant brands, the partnership will allow Amazon users to order easily and efficiently from places such as Applebee’s, Chili’s, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Jamba Juice, Noodles & Company, Red Robin, Sweetgreen and more, across 40,000 locations in the U.S.

Noah Glass, Olo’s founder and CEO, announced, “We’re thrilled to work with Amazon to provide Olo’s base of restaurant customers with a new delivery sales channel that drives increased visibility. Amazon’s obsession with providing great customer and restaurant experience supports the evolving expectations and behaviors of today’s consumer. We’re excited to connect more of Olo’s restaurant brands with Amazon Restaurants.”

Just to add the cherry on the cake to this development, Amazon Restaurants will run through Olo’s operating system, which will mean orders arrive quickly, as well as customers receiving confirmations and updates, reducing any errors in orders.
