It has been 21 years since Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery hit theaters, and after Mike Myers had audiences crying with laughter, they went on to make two more films. Groovy baby!
Kristen Johnston as Ivana Humpalot – Then
Austin Powers met Ivana Humpalot during the photo shoot where he had to find out which model was undercover for Dr. Evil. In true Austin fashion, the two took a likening to one another and ended up playing a game of chess.

After appearing as Ivana Humpalot in Austin Powers, Johnston’s career took off and she went on to take on roles in TV shows including Sex and the City and ER, before starring in films including The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, Music and Lyrics and Bride War. However, in 2012, Johnston admitted she had an alcohol and pill addiction but had been sober for five years. In 2017 she was cast in American satirical comedy-drama television series Daytime Divas.
Fabiana Udenio as Alotta Fagina – Then
We first came across Alotta Fagina when Number Two introduced himself and his “Italian confidential secretary” to Austin Powers at a blackjack table in Las Vegas. Alotta later seduced Austin in order to find out his true identity but fails to do so. Alotta finally appeared in the last scenes of Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, holding a gun to Vanessa’s head when Powers is about to take down Dr. Evil. She managed to escape the lair exploding.
Fabiana Udenio – Now
Udenio is an Italian actress who was born in Argentina and got her start at the age of thirteen, was crowned “Miss Teen Italy,” before going on to act in some teen roles. After her appearance in Austin Powers, Fabiana took on small parts in TV shows including Babylon 5, Baywatch, Full House, NYPD Blue, CSI: Miami, and Mistresses. Recently, she had a recurring role in on 90210 and is currently playing Elena Di Nola/Mutter in the critically acclaimed series Jane the Virgin.
Gia Carides as Robin Spitz Swallows – Then
We first came across Robin Spitz Swallows at Austin Power’s party at his apartment. It turned out that Robyn was a member of Dr. Evils organization and was sent by him as part of a plan to kill Austin Powers. However, the plan completely backfired and after being stabbed in the back, shot with a machine gun, blasted with a rocket launcher, and falling from a high building, Robin still didn’t seem to die. Dr. Evil later suggested that she did.
Gia Carides – Now
Carides is an Australian actress and after portraying Robyn Spitz Swallows in Austin Powers:The Spy Who Shagged Me, she went to take on the role of Cousin Nikki in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, the sequel television show My Big Fat Greek Life, and the sequel film My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 in 2017. In addition, she has also appeared in TV shows including, ER, Big Little Lies, and Twin Peaks. Carides’ ex-husband was actor Anthony LaPaglia and the two starred in the film Paperback Romance.
Rebecca Romijn as Rebecca Romijn – Then
Rebecca appeared as herself in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, as one of the models being photographed at Austin’s pad in London. Meanwhile, Austin was on a mission to find out which of the models were working for Dr. Evil, and he later discovers it was not Rebecca.

As it happens, Austin Powers was not the only film model Rebecca has acted in. After appearing in some of the biggest advertising campaigns for brands including Escada, Christian Dior, La Perla, and Tommy Hilfiger, Rebecca went on to appear in X-Men and X-Men: The Last Stand, and is currently starring as Eve Baird in The Librarians. Romijn was previously married to John Stamos from 1998 until 2005, until finding love again with Jerry O’Connell leading the couple to tie the knot in 2007.
Jerry Springer as Jerry Springer – Then
Jerry Springer made a cameo in The Spy Who Shagged Me, appearing on his own show and trying to mend the relationship between Dr. Evil and Scott Evil. When Scott asked why Dr. Evil left him as a child, Dr. Evil admitted that he left because he wasn’t evil enough. After a fight broke out with the other evil fathers, Springer sent his security over to break it up. Springer returned for the second time when he reunited Scott with his mother, Frau.
Jerry Springer – Now
Jerry Springer has hosted his highly controversial talk show, The Jerry Springer Show ever since 1991. His well-known appearance landed him a couple of other cameos in TV and movies including Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Married… with Children, and Days of Our Lives, before competing in Dancing with the Stars. In 2015, it was announced that Springer would host Too Hot For TV on the WWE Network, as well as debuting the Jerry Springer Podcast, in addition to working on his show.
Britney Spears as Britney Spears – Then
Austin Powers rudely interrupted pop princess Britney Spears when she was practicing a routine to her song “Boys” in Goldmember. Austin couldn’t stop himself from joining in on the dance moves which drove Britney crazy. After engaging in a dance battle, Britney went to shoot at Powers but his mojo got the better of her and Britney the Fembot blew up. However, Spears returned the favor and had Austin Powers guest star in her official music video for “Boys.”

Pop princess Britney Spears started her singing career at 17-years-old and went onto become one of the biggest superstars in the world. Spears has sold over 150 million records worldwide and has won a Grammy Award, six MTV Video Music Awards including the Lifetime Achievement Award, seven Billboard Music Awards including the Millennium Award. The same year as Goldmember was released, Britney starred in her own movie Crossroads. In 2018, Britney announced she would be bringing her Las Vegas residency on tour during the summer.
Beyonce Knowles as Foxxy Cleopatra – Then
Foxxy Cleopatra appeared in Austin Powers in Goldmember, and was working for Goldmember but was also an undercover spy and sidekick to Austin. Foxxy’s own intentions were to avenge Goldmember’s murder of her partner and to stop him once and for all. It was also suggested that Austin and Foxxy has a fling prior to his cryo-freezing in 1967. Despite Foxxy and Austin developing a love connection, both Nigel Powers and Mini-Me seemed to take a liking to Foxxy aswell.
Beyonce Knowles – Now
Beyonce was just 20-years-old when she appeared in Austin Powers and went onto become an iconic superstar. In her music career, Beyonce has sold an estimated 100 million records as a solo artist, making her one of the best-selling artists in history, also winning 20 Grammy Awards. She also went on to star in other movies including The Pink Panther and Dreamgirls, and in 2017, it was confirmed that Beyoncé would voice Nala in Jon Favreau’s live-action remake of The Lion King.
Robert Wagner as Number 2 – Then
Number 2 was Dr. Evil’s right hand man and he was easily recognized by his facial scar and eye-patch which gave him x-ray vision. Despite Number 2 working for Dr. Evil and overseeing the finances of the organization, Number 2 is often seen rolling his eyes at his boss and trying to get him back on track when he loses focus. Number 2 attended school with Dr. Evil and initially got his name because he was always second best.
Robert Wagner – Now
Although Robert Wagner starred in all three Austin Powers movies, he got his start in the industry long before. Wagner was best known for starring in the television shows It Takes a Thief, Switch, and Hart to Hart, as well as appearing in TV movie with Audrey Hepburn, Love Among Thieves. Wagner’s role as Number 2 refreshed his career and he had a recurring role on the TV sitcom Two and a Half Men. In 2017, Robert has a small role in Netflix’s What Happened to Monday.
Michael York as Basil Exposition – Then
Basil Exposition was Austin Power’s answer to James Bond’s M and Q. Basil was in charge of giving Austin the intel on his missions and whereabouts of enemies. Basil often speaks to Austin in his car as he heads out on a mission, or after someone has been captured, to go through the intelligence collected. Basil gifted Austin with his time machine car, all while keeping audiences entertained as he spoke directly to them.
Michael York – Now
Michael York has been acting since the mid-1960s and has appeared in a number of Broadway shows including Bent, The Crucible, Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me, and the original Tennessee William’s Out Cry. After appearing in Austin Powers, York appeared in the third season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and in 2009, he lent his voice to Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Unfortunately, in 2013, York announced he was suffering from the rare disease amyloidosis and had undergone a stem cell transplant to alleviate symptoms.
Seth Green as Scott Evil – Then
Scott Evil was the love child of Dr. Evil and Frau Farbissina, even though he was told he was artificially conceived in a laboratory as a child. Scott grew up when Dr. Evil was artificially frozen, but once he returned, Scott was resentful of his absent father. Dr. Evil claimed that he didn’t love him because he “was not evil enough.” Scott often competed with Mini-Me, until the third movie when Scott became evil and took over when Dr. Evil denounced his criminal ways.
Seth Green – Now
Seth Green is certainly no stranger to the movie business as he is also the creator, executive producer, writer, director and is the most-frequent voice on Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken. In addition, Green has also appeared in feature films including Airborne, The Italian Job, Party Monster, Can’t Hardly Wait, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Without a Paddle, Rat Race and the Austin Powers franchise. In 2018, it was announced that Green would act, write and direct the comedy-drama film Changeland, working alongside Breckin Meyer and Macaulay Culkin.
Mindy Sterling as Frau Farbissina – Then
As the chief henchman and attack and defense specialist for Dr. Evil, Frau Farbissina comes across as an intimidating and vicious woman, with a tendency to scream. In The Spy Who Shagged Me, Frau admitted she found love with a woman name Una Brau who was also in the militant wing of the Salvation Army. However, after going back in time to 1969, Dr. Evil had a relationship with Frau and they later discovered they produced a baby together, Scott Evil.
Mindy Sterling – Now
After appearing in two Austin Powers movies, Mindy Sterling received high praise for her role at Frau Farbissina and she went on to take a smaller role in of How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. In addition, she has appeared in many Disney channel TV shows including That’s So Raven and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, prior to appearing as wedding planner on the Friends episode “The One with Barry and Mindy’s Wedding.” In 2018, she is set to appear in Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Mimi Rogers as Mrs Kensington – Then
Mrs. Marie Kensington was Austin Powers’ sidekick back in the 60’s before he was frozen in the case that Dr. Evil returned and he had to fight him again. Despite their close nature, Mrs. Kensington was married to someone else so never had a romantic relationship with Powers. However, when Austin returned, Kensington had retired and her daughter Vanessa took her place. Nonetheless, due to Vanessa being a Fembot, the outcome of Mrs. Kensington was never actually known.
Mimi Rogers – Now
After her brief appearance in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Rogers went on to star in films including, Lost in Space, Ginger Snaps, The Door in the Floor, and For a Good Time, Call… In addition, she recently appeared in TV shows including Two and a Half Men, Wilfred and Mad Men. Aside from acting, Rogers took up competitive poker in 2003 and went on to finish in the money in her first tournament. Rogers was previously married to Tom Cruise.
Rob Lowe as Young Number 2 – Then
When Dr. Evil went back in time, he met different members of his organization who were 30 years younger. One of which was his right hand man, Number 2, played by Rob Lowe. Dr. Evil commented how good looking and young he was. Although young Number 2 didn’t have a huge part in The Spy Who Shagged Me, it was suggested that Number 2 also went back in time and bizarrely began a relationship with his younger self.
Rob Lowe – Now
Rob Lowe got his start as a teen idol back in the 80s before getting his breakthrough in political drama The West Wing, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination and two Golden Globe Award nominations. He later starred on NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, for four years and most recently has been starring as Dr. Ethan Willis on the CBS medical drama Code Black. In addition, he appears with sons Matthew and John Owen, on his reality series The Lowe Files.
Michael Caine as Nigel Powers – Then
Nigel Powers was a large part of the final movie, Austin Powers in Goldmember, playing the father of Austin Powers and Dr. Evil. Played by Michael Caine, Powers was captured by Dr. Evil, who at the time did not know that he was his son. After Austin rescued his father, he confronted him about being neglected as a child, but the two realize that they are much more alike than imagined. They eventually reconciled, along with Austin’s long-lost brother, Dr. Evil (Dougie.)

Michael Caine is one of the greatest and most iconic British actors, having starred in notable films including Alfie, The Italian Job, Educating Rita, The Dark Knight Trilogy, and Woody Allen’s Hannah and Her Sisters, which earned him an Academy Award. Caine’s critical acclaim has also won him a Golden Globe, BAFTA, as well as many other impressive nominations. His incredible legacy in cinema earned him a Knighthood by the Queen, in recognition of his contribution to cinema.
Fred Savage as Number Three – Then
Also known as “the mole,” Number Three managed to infiltrate Dr. Evil’s layer as an undercover agent but admitted he was very much aware of the irony that he was a mole and also had a large mole on his face. Nonetheless, both Austin Powers and Dr. Evil were unable to be discreet able his facial feature and consistently pointed it out. Number Three was the agent responsible for getting Mini-Me to defect from Dr. Evil’s organization.
Fred Savage – Now
Although we will never be able to forget Fred Savage as Number Three, he was actually best known for his role as Kevin Arnold in the American television series The Wonder Years, which won him a number of awards as a teen. Savage has also lent his voice to Family Guy, Kim Possible, Justice League Unlimited, Oswald, and Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Didn’t Happen. In 2017, he joined the cast of the Netflix series Friends From College.
Will Ferrell as Mustafa – Then
Mustafa was one of Dr. Evils henchmen and was apparently one of his weapons designers, after taking credit for constructing the cryogenic chamber and the trap fire pit. The Turkish/Egyptian man had a personality trait where he could not resist answering a question that had been asked three times, therefore making it easy for Austin Powers and Felicity Shagwell to drive information out of him. Mustafa was another one who was impossible to kill but eventually died off camera.
Will Ferrell – Now
Will Ferrell is among the big name actors that appeared in the Austin Powers franchise. Ferrell was a big name even before this role and was considered a member of the “Frat Pack”, a generation of leading Hollywood comic actors, including Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Steve Carell, Vince Vaughn, and Owen and Luke Wilson. Ferrell has also starred in the much-loved Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Step Brothers, Elf and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. He is set to star in Holmes and Watson in 2018.
Verne Troyer as Mini-Me – Then
Dr. Evil was nothing without his miniature clone and sidekick, and when Dr. Evil was first introduced to him, he said “Breathtaking. I shall call him… Mini-Me.” Played by Verne Troyer, Mini-Me appeared in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and in Austin Powers in Goldmember, where he switched sides to fight against Dr. Evil with Austin, Nigel Powers and Foxxy Cleopatra. Although he didn’t have any dialogue in the film, he was incredibly vicious and hated Scott Evil in particular.
Verne Troyer – Now
Standing at 2 ft 8 inches, Verne Troyer is one of the shortest men in the world, not to mention actors. Although he is best-known and loved for his role as Mini-Me in the Austin Powers franchise, he has also appeared in Men In Black and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, before partnering with Mike Myers once again in The Love Guru. Troyer has also been wrapped up in controversy as a private home video of him and his girlfriend Ranae Shrider was leaked in 2008.
Elizabeth Hurley as Vanessa Kensington – Then
Vanessa Kensington was a British secret agent and the daughter Austin’s former partner. Played by Elizabeth Hurley, she appeared in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and, briefly in, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Vanessa and Austin were married but it all finished when Austin discovered that Vanessa was a Fembot, and she self-destructed.
Elizabeth Hurley – Now
Elizabeth Hurley got her start when she was introduced as an Estée Lauder spokesmodel, with no prior experience. From this, her career catapulted and she broke into acting, appearing in films including Aria, Passenger 57, EDtv, Bedazzled, Serving Sara and Dangerous Ground. However, Hurley was arguably most well-known for her high profile relationship with actor Hugh Grant, the two dated for 13 years before a scandal in 2000 which led them to split. Nevertheless, they still maintain a good relationship to this day.
Mike Myers as Austin Powers, Dr. Evil, Fat Bastard and Goldmember – Then
Austin Powers was a secret agent with missions to defeat Dr. Evil to save the world, all while taking a likening to his sidekicks and other women. Dr. Evil turned out to be Austin’s long-lost brother who wanted to take over the world and kill Powers, using accomplice, Fat Bastard, to try and take him down, while plotting with Goldmember to flood the earth. Austin managed to defeat Fat Bastard and Goldmember, while Dr. Evil turned good.
Mike Myers – Now
Acting as four characters in the Austin Powers movies, Mike Myers can do it all. Following Austin Powers, Myers turned to animated movie franchise Shrek, as well as taking lead roles in The Cat in the Hat and The Love Guru, before appearing in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. In 2018, Myers is set to appear in Queen biographical drama film Bohemian Rhapsody. For his achievements, Myers earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as well as being appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada.
Heather Graham as Felicity Shagwell – Then
Felicity Shagwell was a member of the CIA, and Austin’s accomplice in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Shagwell was known for her ability to entice men and she was successful in this with Dr. Evil’s overweight Scottish accomplice, Fat Bastard. Despite this, Felicity loved and respected Austin Powers and she tried to have her way with him, but he turned her down due to losing his mojo. However, when Felicity and Austin ended up defeating Dr. Evil, they ended up together.
Heather Graham – Now
After taking on a leading role in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Graham went on to appear in films including Committed Say It Isn’t So, Mary, Gray Matters, The Hangover and its sequel, The Hangover Part III. Graham was known for portraying characters who evoked an attractive appeal and often found herself on the “most beautiful women” lists. In 2017, Heather appeared in seven episodes of Law & Order True Crime, and in 2018 she directed, wrote and starred in Half Magic as Honey.
