When any of the real housewives get together, you know you are about to witness drama, scandals, and very expensive handbags. However, it seems that all their drama can result in many television series and a very high paycheck at the end of the day. So how much are these real housewives really worth?
Lisa Vanderpump – $75 Million
Lisa Vanderpump is all about the three Ds – dogs, diamonds, and drinks. Along with her husband, Ken, Lisa has owned 26 bars and restaurants with her most famous being SUR, Villa Blanca, and Pump.
Kim Zolciak-Biermann – $1.5 million
Kim Zolciak-Biermann first rose to fame in 2008 when she appeared on-screen alongside the ladies of Atlanta. She remained on the show until 2012, leaving the series during the fifth season. Reason being, as one of the popular stars of the show, she had received her own spin-off show titled, Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding. The show focused on Kim’s preparations for her wedding to football player Kroy Biermann, which was later renewed for another four seasons. She later returned to The Real Housewives on a recurring basis.
Kandi Burruss – $35 Million
Before Burruss became known as one of the famous housewives, she started her career as a member of the ’90s R&B girl band, Xscape. Her fortune grew when she turned her sights to songwriting and producing, having hits with Destiny’s Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills,” Pink’s “There You Go,” and TLC’s “No Scrubs,” for which she won a Grammy Award. In 2014, Kandi married former line producer for The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Todd Tucker. The pair started dating in 2011 during the fourth season of the show.
Stephanie Hollman – $18 Million
“Girl next door” Stephanie Hollman, now lives in Dallas, Texas, with her husband, Travis, and their two young sons, Chance and Cruz. While she may be involved in all the drama on-screen, this Oklahoma native does more than just gossip with the girls of Texas. She is actively involved in numerous charity organizations and is passionate about giving back. This form of giving back is much better than when she gives back her opinion or speaks her mind about all the drama on the show.
Kim Richards – $100,000
Kim Richards may be one of the most talked about housewives from the hit series, but her personal struggles and her tumultuous relationship with her sister on screen were always a struggle for viewers to witness. The mother of four joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2010 but was let go in in season 5 when signs of addiction came to light. In fact, it was her sister Kyle who let it be known on camera that her sister was an alcoholic.
Tinsley Mortimer – $35 Million
Tinsley may have come from money, since her father was a real-estate investor in her hometown of Richmond, Virginia, but that did not stop the New York star from making her own. She first appeared on the New York City scene as a socialite in the mid-2000s and went on to marry investment banker Topper Mortimer in 2002. In fact, the character, Serena Van der Woodsen, played by Blake Lively on the hit series Gossip Girl, was inspired by Mortimer.
Carole Radziwill – $50 Million
Carole Radziwill may star on The Real Housewives of New York but, according to The New York Times, she is a best-selling author. Radziwill is an accomplished journalist and wrote her memoir titled, What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship and Love. While she has also written a novel, many people may not know that this housewife is a Princess and a Kennedy. That’s right, her late husband, Anthony, was John F. Kennedy’s nephew on his mother’s side, but also a Polish Prince on his father’s.
Kyle Richards – $50 Million
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kyle Richards, was best known for being a child actress before being filmed as a housewife down Hollywood Boulevard. The Little House on the Prairie actress filmed alongside her sister, Kim Richards, when they were younger and, now, Richards is producing the show American Woman based on her and her sister’s lives. Meanwhile, she is the aunt of Paris and Nicky Hilton, owns a boutique named Kyle by Alene Too, and her husband founded his own high-end real estate company called The Agency.
Bethenny Frankel – $25 Million
Bethenny Frankel has had quite the success since her time on The Apprentice, having launched her own line of cocktails named Skinnygirl and selling the company for $100 million. As well as starring on The Real Housewives of New York, she has briefly hosted a talk show, starred in her own Bravo spinoffs, and flips properties on Bethenny & Frederik. In 2010, when Frankel starred in Bethenny Getting Married?, which documented her engagement and marriage to Jason Hoppy, the series premiere was the highest rated of any series in Bravo history.
Dorinda Medley – $20 Million
It is no surprise Dorinda Medley has made her way onto The Real Housewives of New York after making a considerable amount of wealth over the years. Medley began her fashion career at Liz Claiborne in New York and followed this by owning a cashmere company in London. Furthermore, before her second husband’s death in 2011, Dr. Richard H. Medley worked as a Capitol Hill aide and speechwriter and was an advisor to investor George Soros. He was also an economic magazine publisher, philanthropist, and professor.
Heather Dubrow – $30 Million
One of the most well-known housewives is actress Heather Dubrow. The Real Housewives of Orange County star was no stranger to TV when she joined the cast of the series in 2012 and was already a well-known name having starred as Lydia DeLucca in the series That’s Life. While she appeared on screen alongside the other ladies of the OC until 2016, she continued to star in other television shows. Heather is married to fellow reality star Terry Dubrow, who is a famous plastic surgeon and stars on the show Botched.
Dorit Kemsley – $50 Million
Dorit Kemsley is one of the more recent additions to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but that does not mean she isn’t giving the other housewives a run for their money. Rather, Dorit has one of the highest net worths out of all the housewives thanks to founding her own swimsuit line and marrying Paul “P.K.” Kemsley. Her husband, who also features on the show from time to time, is a British property developer, as well as a music manager, with Boy George as one of his clients.
Erika Girardi – $30 Million
Erika Girardi is well-known as Erika Jayne or the Pretty Mess thanks to her stage persona. Never one to do things half-heartedly, the chart-topping singer joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2015 and has since shown off some of her racy dance moves and provocative outfits on the show. Meanwhile, Erika has been married to top Los Angeles lawyer, Tom Girardi, for nearly 20 years. Regardless of people’s opinions, the couple has shown that their 36-year age difference is not a problem for them.
NeNe Leakes – $12 Million
One of the more popular housewives is, undoubtedly, NeNe Leakes. Known for her outspoken ways, the original Real Housewives of Atlanta star has been a contestant on Donald Trump’s The Celebrity Apprentice and ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Moreover, NeNe was also a recurring character on Glee, where she played Roz Washington and made her Broadway debut in Rodger & Hammerstein’s Cinderella in 2014. Leakes also has a national comedy tour entitled “So Nasty, So Rude,” as well as her own clothing line on the Home Shopping Network.
Romana Singer – $18 Million
Another real housewife who has come from a career in fashion is New York City star Ramona Singer. The 61-year-old earned herself a fashion degree and went on to work at Macy’s, Calvin Klein, and French Connection. Her passion for fashion further developed when she opened her own retail business at the age of 30. Along with her ex-husband, Mario, they co-founded True Faith Jewelry, and she has her own skincare and pinot grigio lines. This is, of course, alongside her ten seasons on The Real Housewives.
Luann de Lesseps – $25 Million
Before hitting the small screen on The Real Housewives of New York, de Lesseps worked as a nurse, model, and TV presenter. The 52-year-old was also once married to a count and released an etiquette book titled, How to Live with Elegance and Flair. This is alongside her clothing line and her three fan-favorite singles, “Money Can’t Buy You Class,” “Chic, C’est La Vie” and “Girl Code.” Perhaps she should be offering her book and singles to some of the ladies on the show.
Teresa Giudice – $11 Million
Teresa Giudice has made many headlines since first appearing on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. While she has managed to become a New York Times bestseller with her multiple cookbooks, and appeared on Donald Trump’s The Celebrity Apprentice, Teresa has faced some legal troubles. It became public knowledge that Teresa and her husband were having financial and legal troubles which resulted in a prison sentence for them both. In 2015/2016, Teresa served 11 months in prison, while her husband started his 41-month prison sentence in March 2016.
Lisa Rinna – $8 Million
Lisa Rinna was no stranger to television when she joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Perhaps it is no surprise that the actress often expresses herself in a more theatrical way than the other ladies living their extravagant lives in Los Angeles. Throughout her career, Rinna has starred in Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place, Veronica Mars, and 8 Simple Rules. Like her two daughters, Rinna used to model, and she also has the successful Lisa Rinna Collection on QVC.
Shannon Beador – $20 Million
The Real Housewives of Orange County introduced Shannon Beador to the cast in Season 9, and she was sure to bring some honest manner to the group. Living in a toxicity-free-zone house, Beador lives a holistic lifestyle and spends much of her free time with her energy specialist and Feng Shui advisor to get rid of any built up anger and frustration. Beador has racked up a comfortable net worth after making between $250,000 and $300,00 to appear on the RHOC season.
Karen Huger – $10 Million
The Real Housewives of Potomac came to Bravo in 2016 and fans were introduced to Karen Huger. While the stars on the show may not be as famous as their counterparts, they are certainly not short of money. Huger is married to Raymond, a software executive who she likes to refer to as “the black Bill Gates.” While he may have made millions of dollars, it came to public light that Raymond owed millions back in taxes and the Hugers faced a rocky road.
Aviva Drescher – $20 Million
Drescher was cast during Season five of The Real Housewives of New York City in an attempt by producers to revamp the series. They certainly chose wisely with Aviva since not only was she previously married to Harry Dubin, but she created one of the most talked about moments of the show’s history. In the season six finale, when it was questioned if her asthma diagnosis was real by Heather, Aviva said “the only thing fake or artificial about me is…” and threw her prosthetic leg across the table.
Kelly Bensimon – $20 Million
Kelly Bensimon began her career as a model, having appeared in several magazines and becoming the face of Clarins. She appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City from season 2 to season 4 and is also an author and former editor of Elle Accessories. In 2016, she released her first novel titled, A Dangerous Age with Simon and Schuster, which spoke of her personal life in the art and publishing world. The following year she released the sequel, The Second Course, which speaks of the food world.
Yolanda Hadid – $45 Million
Yolanda Hadid is a former model who is also the mother of top models Gigi and Bella Hadid. While her children may be stealing the spotlight these days, Yolanda is no stranger to the camera and had great success for 15 years as a model. She appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills which documented her marriage and divorce with David Foster, as well as her battle with Lyme disease. In 2017, she released her memoir, Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease.
Jill Zarin – $35 Million
Jill Zarin was once a star cast member on The Real Housewives of New York City but left the show after four seasons. Meanwhile, those seasons were the highest rated years and, once Jill left, ratings for the series significantly dropped. While she may have been a hit on the series, she chose to move away from the reality series to focus on other projects. She co-authored a book with her mother and sister, titled Secrets of a Jewish Mother, and starred in the movie, Night Of The Wild.
Caroline Manzo – $12 Million
Manzo joined her sister, Dina, and sister-in-law, Jacqueline Laurita, to star in The Real Housewives of New Jersey when it premiered in 2009. After five seasons of drama and scandal, Manzo chose to leave the show and began filming her spin-off series, Manzo’d with Children. 1.7 million viewers tuned in to watch the premiere in October 2014, and the show was picked up for two more seasons, coming to an end after the third. Brandi Glanville – $2 Million
Brandi Glanville is one of the more controversial stars of the Real Housewives franchise who started off as a guest star and then became a full-time cast member in season 3 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The former model spoke of her marriage scandal and public divorce while on the show, and viewers watched her try to find love once again until she left after season 5. She also became a New York Times bestselling author after writing two books.
Vicki Gunvalson – $7 Million
The longest-serving cast member of The Real Housewives franchise is Orange County favorite, Vicki Gunvalson. Having appeared on the series since the first episode aired in 2006, Gunvalson earns around $500,000 per season. However, most of the reality star’s wealth has been acquired through her successful business which she co-founded. The business is located in the OC and is called Coto Insurance & Financial Services. The business has helped bring her net worth up to $7 million. She has been married twice and has two children.
Kelly Dodd – $12 Million
Kelly Dodd joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County for the eleventh season and, in her short time on the series, she has managed to butt heads with a few of the other housewives. The Arizona native has certainly brought her unfiltered opinions to the show and was even involved in a bar brawl during their trip to Ireland. Meanwhile, Dodd recently divorced her husband, Michael, who was the COO for LeapFrog from 2005 to 2016.
Phaedra Parks – $2 Million
Phaedra Parks was a recurring cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta from season 3. On top of becoming a reality star, Parks is a managing partner of the Parks Group, which is a boutique law firm. However, for someone who is familiar with the law and handling the truth, she did not shy from spreading rumors to the other ladies about her cast mates. She may no longer be an on-screen housewife, but as far as Real Housewives alumni go, Lea Black has one of the highest net worths. Lea and Roy are certainly one power couple, with Lea being an entrepreneur in her own right. Tamra Judge – $800,000
Tamra has been part of The Real Housewives of Orange County cast since Season three and reportedly brings in $350,000 per season. Tamra was also part of a three-part special in 2013, and the first spin-off for RHOC, when cameras followed her as she prepared to marry Eddie Judge. Together with her husband, she co-owns CUT Fitness, bringing her net worth to $800,000. While that is a staggering sum, it is considerably less than many of her fellow reality stars.

Meghan joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2015, a year after she married Jim Edmonds, a former MLB player, and sports announcer. Kenya Moore is more than just another housewife in Atlanta, but she is also an actress, model, producer, author, and entrepreneur. Before being cast on the Bravo hit series, you may have caught sight of Kenya on shows such as The French Prince of Bel Air and Smart Guy, or known her to as Miss USA 1993. Camille Grammer – $50 Million
While she may no longer be part of the full-time cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Camille Grammer still makes appearances on the series from time to time. While she has maintained strong friendships with her fellow housewives, Camille has not had the easiest of times since first appearing on the show. The mother-of-two suffered from cancer and went through a very troubled and public divorce from actor Kelsey Grammer. Posha joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2012 during the show’s fifth season and has remained a prominent figure on the show ever since. Shereé Whitfield – $100,000
While she may be rubbing shoulders with some of the rich and famous, Shereé Whitfield’s net worth stands at just $100,000. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has seen her funds on the decline after losing the money she got from her divorce, and from legal battles over her home and business. In 2010, Bailey became part of the full-time cast on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. That year, viewers tuned in to catch Bailey’s wedding plans, her pre-wedding nerves, and eventually her wedding to bar/club owner, Peter Thomas. However, while the show documented the build-up to one of the biggest day’s in Bailey’s life, over the next six years, it also showed the financial and relationship challenges the couple faced. As the daughter of the highly successful Vidal Sassoon, who started the iconic salon empire, Eden Sassoon, this housewife’s name is immediately recognizable. However, Eden has managed to make a name and fortune for herself by opening her salon, EDEN by Eden Sassoon, along with two high-end pilates studios in Los Angeles. No wonder she has a net worth of an impressive $20 million!
Melissa Gorga – $1.5 Million In Debt
She may be one of the well-known stars on The Real Housewives of New Jersey having joined in Season three, but Melissa Gorga has faced some financial troubles ever since. Similarly to her sister-in-law Teresa, Melissa and her husband, Joe, owe hundreds of thousands of dollars to various creditors. Fortunately, however, Melissa and Joe have not faced a similar situation to Theresa and her husband by landing themselves in jail. Together with Theresa, the Gorgas opened a restaurant in 2017 named Gorga’s Homemade Pasta and Pizza in New Jersey.
