Oh, Freddie Prinze Jr. — he was by far one of the biggest ’90s heartthrobs. After getting small acting gigs here and there throughout the mid-’90s, Freddie finally began landing starring roles in films including I Know What You Did Last Summer, its sequel — I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, She’s All That, Scooby-Doo, and more. He has also been known to lend his voice to different projects such as Disney XD series Star Wars Rebels. As of 2020, Freddie is set to play Travis in the upcoming reboot of Punky Brewster.

Jennifer Love Hewitt
Jennifer Love Hewitt was basically the ’90s “It” girl — every gal wanted to be her, and every guy wanted to date her. She began her career as a child, appearing in TV commercials before joining the cast of the Disney Channel series Kids Incorporated. It wasn’t until 1995, though, that Hewitt had her breakthrough as Sarah Reeves Merrin on the FOX teen drama Party of Five. From there, Hewitt continued gaining popularity and landing different film roles including as Julie James in the horror flick I Know What You Did Last Summer. Since 2018, Hewitt has played Maddie Buckley, an ER nurse, on the FOX police procedural 9-1-1.

Mario Lopez
There’s no denying that Mario Lopez has remained completely relevant in Hollywood throughout the years. He first gained prominence as A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell. Since then, Lopez has appeared in several projects including the third season of Dancing With the Stars. Still, many of you may recognize him as the host for the syndicated entertainment news magazine show Extra. Aside from that, Lopez has also hosted America’s Best Dance Crew for MTV and the U.S. version of The X Factor. As of 2020, Lopez is set to reprise his role as A.C. Slater on the Saved by the Bell reboot!

Mayim Bialik
Mayim Bialik got her start as a child actor in the late ’80s. It wasn’t until 1991, though, that she landed her breakthrough role as the title character of the NBC sitcom Blossom — which lasted until 1995. Many of you probably know her as neurobiologist Amy Farrah Fowler on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, a character she played from 2010 to 2019 and earned her several nominations and a Critic’s Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Something you may have not known is that outside of Bialik’s acting career, she actually holds a real Ph.D. in neuroscience!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
Let’s be real — the ’90s were a good time for the Olsen twins. After all, they began their acting careers as infants, playing Michelle Tanner on the hit sitcom Full House. From there, they formed their own company called Dualstar and continued starring in films including New York Minute, Holiday in the Sun, When in Rome, and You’re Invited to Mary-Kate & Ashley’s… (film series), among several others. Since then, both Mary-Kate and Ashley have pursued careers in the fashion industry, even launching their own couture fashion label called The Row.

Ben Savage
If we’re being completely honest, the ’90s was one of the best decades in terms of entertainment. Seriously — thinking about the television shows and films that existed is making us very nostalgic. Does anyone remember Boy Meets World? Of course you do. Ben Savage essentially ruled Hollywood when he gained prominence for his portrayal of Cory Matthews. Once the show ended, though, no one really saw much of Savage aside from appearances on different shows here and there. In 2014, the now 39-year-old reprised his role as (a much older) Cory Matthews on Girl Meets World.

Jane Sibbett
If you’re a real ’90s kid, then you remember Jane Sibbett not only as Ross’ lesbian ex-wife, Carol, on Friends but also as the gold-digging Clarice Kensington in the 1995 Mary-Kate and Ashley film It Takes Two. Since then, Sibbett has continued to work on film and television although her focus has mainly shifted towards producing. In fact, she even began working on a series of documentaries that follow a Croatian-faith healer named Braco — sometimes called “The Gazer” — and has released four films about his work thus far.

Amanda Bynes
Amanda Bynes stole our hearts with her hilarious, head-turning performances in the teen sketch show All That. During her time on the show, Bynes created tons of memorable characters that would recur in sketches throughout the years including “Ask Ashley.” When she was 13, Bynes landed her own sketch show — The Amanda Show. Once that ended, Bynes began starring in different films including Big Fat Liar, What a Girl Wants, She’s the Man, Hairspray, Sydney White, and Easy A. Although she took an indefinite hiatus from acting in 2010, Bynes’ personal life has been highly publicized in recent years.

Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan rose to fame at just 11 years old when she starred in the 1998 remake of The Parent Trap. Following her time on that film, Lohan’s career only continued to grow, landing starring roles in films including Life-Size, Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and Mean Girls to name a few. Since then, Lohan’s personal life became a focal point in the media as she began running into trouble. Although she’s had some minor roles in recent years, her focus has since moved towards music.
