How To Go Meat-Free One Day A Week

In recent times, becoming vegetarian or vegan has become more popular, but is still not the best option for many. If you may be contemplating removing meat from your diet but do not want to go completely meat-free, perhaps try going meat-free for just one day a week.

Sharon Palmer, a registered dietician and author of Plant-Powered for Life, discuss how “Research consistently shows that plant-based diets are linked with a lower risk of obesity, hypertension, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and cancer.”

She continues, “Even going meatless one day a week can make a difference, as you increase all of those whole plant foods — beans, lentils, whole grains, nuts, seeds, vegetables, fruits — and decrease more animal foods, in particular red and processed meat. High intakes of these foods have been linked with increased disease risk.”

Deciding to have a more plant-based diet also increases your intake of fiber, vitamins, healthy fats and minerals. To help to do, stocking your fridge or pantry with a variety of beans, seasonal veggies, whole grains, herbs, nuts, and seeds is Palmer’s secret to eating more plant-based meals.

Palmer’s other recommendation is “plantifying” your favorite dishes. “Just make your favorite entrees or meals plant-based, with a few swaps. If you have a mean lasagna recipe, skip the meat and add layers of greens, broccoli and peppers and perhaps some pine nuts and cashew cheese instead of the meat and cheese.

If you love taco Tuesday, make your tacos veggie by skipping the meat and serving black beans or a vegetarian mushroom tofu filling. If you love Indian food, skip the chicken masala and have chickpea masala instead. These will be foods you already love and are familiar with.”

Her biggest advice is to pick one day a week to follow through with this and mark it on your calender. “I love the Meatless Monday idea because people often start their best behaviors at the beginning of the week. … However, there may be a better day of the week for you, so just plan it,” Palmer said.

Man Claiming to Be Time Traveler Actually Got Predictions for 2019 Correct

We may think it’s a myth, but apparently, time travel is not such a distant fantasy, after all – one man named Noah claims to have already done it…

Noah The Time Traveler

Noah surfaced on YouTube in 2018, claiming to be a time traveler. Interviewed by supernatural Youtube channel ApexTV, Noah claimed that he had been to the year 2030, and he supplied “remnants” from the future such as a crumbled piece of paper that he claimed to be a “library page.” He had a number of fascinating predictions…

Noah The Time Traveler

Library Pages

It’s interesting to note that according to Noah, we will still be using books in 2030 – something that seems highly unlikely at the rate we are going through trees, as well as all the technological alternatives to paper that we already have on offer. But that doesn’t seem to bother Noah, who holds up a crumpled piece of paper to the screen which lists several years in the future and events which are supposedly going to happen. Some of his predictions are pretty…interesting…

We Will Become Cyborgs

According to Noah, by June 2019 we would have chips which would enable handicapped or otherwise paralyzed people to walk again. While many technological advances have indeed been made for the handicapped community, this particular invention has yet to arrive on the scene. What’s more, he also predicts the arrival of “robotic eyes” which would enable the blind to fully regain their eyesight. Unsurprisingly, June 2019 had come and gone, and we have yet to hear about either of these inventions. Maybe he meant June 3019?

Extreme Snowstorms

Noah predicted that the biggest snowstorm in history would hit the Midwest in February 2019, and that multiple cities would be “wiped out” by this storm. While there were definitely some pretty epic snowstorms over the winter, we have yet to hear of any cities having been completely “wiped out” by one of them. But predicting snowstorms in the Midwest in winter is not exactly that much of a stretch. However, the prediction of extreme weather events ties into some of Noah’s other messages from the future…

Extreme Snowstorms

Climate Crisis Ahead

Noah warns that global warming will continue to worsen in the coming years, calling it a “huge crisis” which will set off massive wildfires, as well as cause the sea levels to rise to the point where entire US cities will be submerged underwater. We all already know that global warming is a threat, so these predictions don’t actually sound completely off the mark. Noah warns that the world should stop its carbon emissions to attempt to save the world from climate disaster.

Journey To Mars

However, there is some hope for the future, says Noah: as planet Earth reaches its environmental demise, humans will succeed in skipping town to Mars and making it habitable. He doesn’t detail exactly how humans will have accomplished this, but he assures that by 2030, the human race will have other options to choose from when it comes to planets. And it’s not only us who will we be visiting outer space – Noah predicts that residents of other planets will be paying us a visit…

Journey To Mars

The Aliens Are Coming

That’s right – the alien invasion is upon us. In its early stages, Noah claimed that in January 2019, the number of UFO sightings would increase, signaling a new era in intergalactic relations. This begins what will be a couple of decades in which we gradually all discover that aliens are real. They will begin to have secret meetings with world leaders, influencing global politics, and by 2028, the entire world will know of their existence and accept that they are real.

They Come In Peace

According to Noah, the extraterrestrial creatures are hard to describe, having what he calls “bold skin” and being “slender-like” and “humanoid but not at the same time”. But don’t worry – these aliens come in peace. Noah says that their arrival on the earth will be a positive development, ushering in an era of harmony for the world. The aliens will live among humans and mean us no harm – on the contrary, human life on earth will benefit from this addition of a new intelligent species to their midst.

The Very Confusing Planet

So where do our peaceful alien visitors herald from? Noah tells us of a planet called Louis 33, named after the person who will have discovered it, but will be more commonly known as ‘369,’ which its ‘scientific name.’ According to Noah, this planet is “very confusing” and that its atmosphere is full of nitrogen. While the aliens who hail from there have become immune to it, the nitrogen levels would be fatal to any humans who attempted to visit the planet.

The Mega-Country

The alien arrival, says Noah, is actually very good news for us humans. It will make the majority of humans on Earth unify as one human race, causing the breakdown of geopolitics as we know it. Once all humans identify as Earth residents, it’s only a matter of time until the whole concept of countries goes out the window. Within the next decade, all the countries in the world will morph into one mega-country, uniting the human race. Sounds pretty good!

Ruled By Artificial Intelligence

So if the world is politically united, who will be the leader? Noah says that the leader of the world will not be human – rather, everything will be controlled by artificial intelligence. What’s more, along with the unification of countries will come one global currency that is used by people worldwide. This actually sounds like a pretty good idea – considering how many errors in judgment have come from corrupt leaders of countries throughout history, perhaps it’s time to turn over authority to the robots!

But First, War

However, before this era of unity and peace, there’s a lot that humanity will have to go through. Mexico will be hit by a food and water shortage, becoming more dependent on the US for aid. And there will be one last war between the US and North Korea. North Korea will supposedly “go back to its old ways” and the United States will start a war with them. This war will not be World War III, but Noah assures it will be a big one.

Our Young President

One of Noah’s more unusual and specific predictions was his claim about the future President of the United States. He claims that in November 2028, Yolanda Renee King – the granddaughter of Martin Luther King, Jr. – will be elected president, all at the ripe age of 20 years old! Current US laws require that a person must be at least 35 years old to be elected president, but in this wild future that Noah has supposedly traveled back from, those laws will have changed.

Our Young President

No More Teachers, No More Books

Maybe this has something to do with the future technological advancements in education that Noah has predicted. Firstly, students will not all study the same core subjects anymore. A new, “highly effective” system of education will be implemented which personalizes what each student learns based on testing. Surely many people who suffered through boring school classes to learn information that they never used outside of the classroom can get behind this idea. Even the way we learn information will be altered in the future, Noah says.

The One

In the future, all humans will somehow be “connected to computers”, and be able to benefit from a vast network of information. There will also be a chip called “The One” which will increase brainpower once installed into the human brain. Noah claimed to have a chip installed in his wrist. What’s more, the possibility of time travel will be common knowledge by 2030, and while it will be “very expensive,” there will be devices that allow humans to see into the future.

The One

Hunted By The Goverment

However, time travel is apparently strictly controlled, and Noah, who claimed to have access to it because he was an employee of a government project, was fired and thus he got stuck in our present year with no way of getting back. Furthermore, he claims numerous times in his videos that he is being hunted down by the government because they don’t want news of time travel getting out to the wider public just yet. This is apparently the reason why his face is blurred out in all of his videos.

Hunted By The Government

“Full Of Technology”

But by 2028, time travel will be common knowledge, and lest you think that Noah is not the real deal, he has brought back a number of “relics” from the future to prove his legitimacy. In one video, he presents a black amorphous blob that he claims is made up of millions of nano-robots, which somehow ties into time travel. In another video, he introduces us to a “time travel machine” which, despite appearing like a simple wooden cube painted black, is allegedly “full of technology.”

“Full Of Technology”

A Video From The Future

Noah even presented a “video from the future” which shows a futuristic cityscape with flying cars and neon lights that he claims to be Las Vegas in the year 2030. He also took a lie detector test in order to prove to the world that he was legitimate. Once he passed the lie detector test, many people across the world began to take notice of him. Before he knew it, Noah the time traveler became a viral sensation, gaining fans across the globe…

His Story Went Viral

Noah’s predictions were covered by numerous news channels, radio shows, and social media figures. A surprising number of people heard about his predictions, and many even took him seriously. His series of videos, each one with a new set of “revelations” or pieces of evidence from the future, were published on the ApexTV YouTube channel. He was even featured in a Japanese newspaper, which is featured in one of his videos. Could Noah the time traveler actually be legit?

His Story Went Viral

Surprise! It Was All A Hoax

The answer, unsurprisingly to many, is no. In late July 2019, Noah finally released a video revealing that the entire thing had been a hoax – can’t say we were surprised. He released a video revealing his face and claiming that his name was actually Denis Bel and that he was 16 years old. He claimed that ApexTV had wanted him to sign a nondisclosure agreement. “I can’t do this stupid character anymore,” he said. “I have to get rid of this looming that’s above me that keeps making me scared of being exposed.”

Who Is The Real Noah?

What then developed was perhaps even stranger than the content of Noah’s predictions. The video was deleted, and then ApexTV posted another video – of a completely different person – claiming that it was actually he who was the “real Noah.” This time, a man named Jason confessed to having made the whole thing up. He claimed that he was getting bullied regularly in school and struggling with his gender identity, and had no close friends. He became obsessed with YouTube and began to email ApexTV claiming to be a time traveler.

Who Is The Real Noah?

An Unhealthy Addiction

Finally, Jason was surprised when ApexTV actually posted one of his videos, and it became a viral sensation. “I couldn’t believe it,” he said. “Just like that, I was a famous time traveler.” After the first video, posing as a time traveler became an “unhealthy addiction” for him, as the only positive feedback he was getting in life at the time was “from being this Noah character.” What’s more, he claims to have actually started believing his own stories – that the government was after him and that he could see the future.

We Hope He Gets Help In the Present

That leaves one last question – how did he pass the lie detector test? He claims that it was a combination of believing he was telling the truth, a medication he was taking “to be calmer,” and the fact that the lie detector used by ApexTV “wasn’t the best.” He then apologized to anyone who may have been hurt by his lies. Hopefully, this ‘time traveler from the future’ will get the help he needs to fully return to the present. In the meantime, we’ll keep an eye out for those UFOs.
